Why 'RICE'?

The name RICE was penned back in 2003 by Steve Chong and the Core Team to stand for 'RICE Inter-Church Evangelism'. Yes, indeed the 'R' did just stand for 'rice', a reference to the cultural heritage of the youth groups involved in the very first years of the RICE evangelistic events.
