Vision & Beliefs

RICE is an events driven movement with a heart for evangelism & gospel centred renewal in our city. We have a desire and passion to convict, mobilise, equip, train and revitalise the next generation to serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

By God’s grace and through His Spirit, RICE: evangelises to the youth of Sydney, trains and equips Sydney’s youth to make Jesus known, revitalises and regenerates Sydney’s university students and young working force and will soon help identify the next generation of gifted leaders and mobilise them into action for God.

Statement of beliefs

1. We worship one God in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit
2. We delight in the good creation of the sovereign Creator God
3. We mourn the presence of sin in God’s good creation and in our own lives
4. We rejoice in the love of God and the redemption won by Christ Jesus
5. We rely on the power of God’s Holy Spirit for life and mission
6. We look for the return of Christ, the resurrection of the dead, the judgement, and the renewal of all things
7. We confess that God alone is able to save
8. We embrace the challenge of the Christian life
9. We treasure God’s Church, the bride of Christ
10. We cherish the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, the written Word of God
